Which data do we process?
When you use the contact form, we process the data you enter yourself: your name, company name, email address, (optionally) phone number, the type of project, your project description and (optionally) budget and preferred timing.
To prevent misuse of the form, we use a temporary, encrypted code derived from your IP address. We don’t store your IP address itself with your request.
Why do we process this data?
We use your data solely to answer your request and, if you wish, to prepare a proposal. The legal basis is your consent and taking pre-contractual steps at your request. We don’t use your data for newsletters or advertising without your explicit consent.
How long do we keep your data?
Requests are automatically deleted after the retention period set on our website (12 months by default), unless a collaboration results from it and we need the data longer to perform that agreement or meet legal obligations.
Who has access to your data?
Only Webtaal and the parties needed to make the website and email work (such as the hosting provider) have access. We never sell your data to third parties.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict processing, object and transfer your data. You can withdraw your consent at any time. To do so, please contact us.
If you’re not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (www.dataprotectionauthority.be).
